Ventura County Events in June

Today’s post will feature some of the events that will be happening throughout Ventura County during the month of June. Summertime is quickly approaching and many children have entered summer break or will be finishing classes shortly. June offers a variety of events that should appeal to all age groups. We are sure that many Ventura County residents will be heading to the local beaches as the weather warms up, but if you are looking for something a little bit different to do, hopefully you will find one of the following events to be something that you will enjoy.

FAIRY TALES IN THE PARK

Every May through September, Gypsies in a Trunk performs free fairy tales at various locations throughout Ventura County. Their goal is to bring free entertainment to children and their families and hopefully to help grow love and appreciation for live theater. Performances are always held outdoors and there may not always be shade available, so attendees are encouraged to plan accordingly. Shows run approximately 45 minutes long and pets are requested to be left at home. This month the group will be performing “PETER PAN 2: HOOK’S REVENGE,” directed by Chris Carnicelli. The show can be seen at the following locations and dates:

Simi Valley: Rancho Simi Community Park Amphitheatre at 4:00 pm on June 6th
