In today’s post, we are going to take a quick look at one of the largest residential real estate brokerages in Ventura County. If you talk to anyone who has bought a home in the last decade or two, they have probably heard of Troop Real Estate. What many people may not realize is that Troop does more than just help people buy and sell homes. Troop Real Estate was founded in 1987 by Brian Troop. Unlike big, national brokerages, Brian Troop’s goal was to create a brokerage local to Ventura County that offered great customer service. No stranger to starting businesses, Troop also founded a gardening service and a hardwood floor and carpet cleaning restoration company before his 21st birthday. Since 1987, Troop Real Estate has grown to over 12 offices and 550 real estate agents in Ventura and Los Angeles Counties. As of the writing of this post, Troop Real Estate has the largest market share of all brokerages in Ventura County

Troop Real Estate Divisions

Along with operating a residential real estate brokerage, Troop is also involved with several other divisions which offer differing services. Some of these services are as follows:

Relocation Services: Troop offers relocation services for those clients needing greater assistance with the purchase or sale of a home. Commercial and Business Services: While Troop Real Estate was initially founded to cater to the residential real estate arena, there is also a division that specializes in commercial real estate. Originally two separate divisions, the two were merged in 2014 and are committed to providing the same high level of service as when they were individual divisions.

Property Management: In 2011, Troop Real Estate Inc. and Premiere Property Management joined together to form Troop Premier Property Management. Managing well over 500 properties, this division prides itself in the same great customer service that led Troop’s residential real estate brokerage to great success.
