On July 23rd and 24th, the Tequila and Taco Music Festival returns to Ventura County. This year, the festival is moving from The Collection in Oxnard to Plaza Park in Ventura, which will be a larger venue to provide more space for tequila, tacos, margaritas, and entertainment. For those who may have attended this event in the past, the new venue is sure to provide everything you expect and more. For those Ventura County residents who have not yet attended a Tequila and Taco Festival, be sure to come out and check out the event. Some of the details are listed below.
Saturday, July 23rd
From 11 AM to 5:30 PM will be the tequila day of the Tequila and Taco Festival. This day will feature top shelf tequila and mezcal samplings, along with gourmet street tacos and live music. There will also be award winning margaritas and craft beer for attendees to purchase. The tequila sampling is only from 11 AM – 3 PM, so make sure that you take this into account when planning your day so that you do not mistakenly think the samplings will be offered all the way until closing time.
Sunday July 24th
From 11 AM to 5:30 PM will be the Margarita day of the Tequila and Taco Festival. This day will feature everything that Saturday has to offer EXCEPT for the tequila samplings. Please do not make the same mistake that some have made in the past when they purchased a ticket for Sunday, expecting to take part in the tequila samplings, only to be very disappointed when they arrived.

Tequila and Taco Festival Tickets
There are various tiers of tickets that can be purchased for the event. Tickets can either be bought online or at the Ventura Visitor Center or Sam’s Saticoy Liquor and Delivery Service.
Kids 12 and under: Free
General Admission: $10 per day
Saturday Tequila Experience: $40
Premiere Two Day Pass: $60
